The game is a sprinter's dream, team up with heavy hitters like the Germans, the Yanks or the Russians and raining keyboard upon the keyboard to smash records. But hold onto your accelerator, because Seattle is just the start of your high-speed thrill ride, through fast-paced tracks in San Francisco, all the way to the famed Rio—the more you win, the closer you get to the championship.
Imperfect, with the odd moment of slight unresponsiveness that can jar your rhythm, the game nevertheless nails the thrill of competitive racing. While my experience was decidedly less droll than some players could describe, the game still had me on my toes with its medal-collection energy boost system, as well as the sweet, sweet taste of victory as I sullied my elementary school’s podium.
If you are up for the challenge to beat the best runners in the world, then most certainly give it a try and enjoy the athletic competition!
