It's pretty much the game that started it all!
Play Atari Pong and see why everyone talks about this classic. When it launched in the early 1970s, Pong changed gaming forever. All you do is move a paddle up or down on either side of the screen, going up against the computer. Whoever scores 11 points first takes the win. Pong hit arcades in 1972, based on a digital version of ping pong. Fun fact: It was never planned to become a full game. The American programmer Allan Alcorn made it as a test project. But when Atari’s co-founders checked it out, they knew it had huge potential, and that is how Pong became a legend.

Atari Pong is such a classic and honestly I spent way too much time on it last weekend. The simple back-and-forth gameplay is addictive in the best way. If you want more retro arcade vibes, check out Arkanoid which has that same satisfying paddle action but with block-breaking fun. For something completely different but equally entertaining, Air Hockey gives you that competitive two-player feel.
