A Sweet Escape to the Candyland Adventures
Plunging headfirst into Back to Candyland 4: Lollipop Garden I was met by bright, saucy jellies wishing to be matched. It does what it says on the tin: a sugary puzzle adventure. It is very simple to get started, with matchmaking mechanics that feel intuitive, but become more difficult as the game goes on. Friends said they enjoyed the cheerful graphics and the head scratching levels that should keep them busy for a bit. However, they also mentioned that some levels did feel somewhat repetitive after some time of playing game, which made the excitement level drop as low as a lollipop in a cup of tea.
In my case, the game never had me at the edge of my seat, but it was a nice way to kill some time. Though the odd level is something of a foregone conclusion, Back to Candyland 4: Lollipop Garden offers a nice amount of fun. It’s a digital sugar rush without all the calories.
