Bubble Spirit

Just like that, I’ve still been harping on about Bubble Spirit the lively bubble shooter where you’re tasked with clearing your path through 50 whimsical levels of inky goodness. The game’s premise is simple, yet addictive: pop three or more of the same-colored bubbles to clear them from the field, all while trying to achieve the level goal to earn those ever-elusive three stars for each level.

When I got around to playing it, I did pick up on some of those tactical angles. The special bubbles — the ones that eliminate large areas, or take out full lines vertically or horizontally — offered an enjoyable layer of consideration with each shot. And the pursuit of extra points had me (and, apparently, other players) returning, determined to reach that high score.

As for the rest of the players, comments on the site resonate with a collective nod of approval. Stuff like 'oui j'aime aussi ce jeu!!! ', with clapping thumbs as well, and a simple 'pas mal ce jeu merci' show this game is for everyone. And yes, the facility to save scores adds a healthy competitive edge to the entire experience. Overall, Bubble Spirit offers an enjoyable mix of strategy, skill, and a little classic luck. This game is a satisfying refuge when you want to kill a couple of minutes as well as when you want to escape into an alternate universe in which your next step is your biggest concern.
