Engaging Puzzler in a Lush Setting – A Forest Match Review
When I jumped into the colorful environment of Forest Match a waterfall of plants, fruits and mushrooms all combined together to make a beautiful mix. The game’s basic premise of joining three or more symbols may sound similar, but it throws in enough punishing power-ups and goals to keep the gameplay from getting stale. It has no leaderboard either, which may disappoint some players, but the game itself is more than capable of standing on its own. Friends of mine who like Candy Crush found it distracting in a nice way, but a couple complained about loading issues in the game. Overall the buzz has been positive, especially when compared to the level of strategy needed as you climb ranks. An occasional comment about ads invading the experience sounds a minor note of annoyance but is easily overwhelmed by the draws of the games themselves. It is worth firing this up if you’re looking for your next casual gaming hit, as a match-3 puzzle game set in an enchanted forest.
