Light-Up Your Day With a Dash of Arcade Fun in Jumping Light

3.8

Well, ladies and gents, allow us to introduce you to a game that is as straightforward as leap frog and as addictive as an arcade classic. Jumping Light tests your reflexes and honestly it's been a great little adventure! With only a couple of moves in your repertoire — exactly left or right — you've got to prevent a cutesy little light ball from succumbing to gravity's brutal truth, drooped between some cruel green lumps.

As you scoop up those shiny dots, which are probably fairy dust since they have you bouncing up all the way, it gets to be quite the combination of skill and timing. And who doesn't love to beat their own high score? My competition with myself has kept me glued to the screen, and from wandering around gaming forums, I am not the only one in this light-ball-leaping saga.

Don’t expect any fireworks or fancy frills; Jumping Light is an arcade style HTML5 game that is straight, fat-free all the way, and simple enough that it seems to be a big hit with many casual gamers looking for a quick gaming fix. Comments around the web are very on point with things like ‘this game is very coooool’ — yes, with that many o’s. Overall, it’s a neat little package of fun with addictive edge and I can definitely envision pulling this out during those in-between moments, or if I want to kill a lazy afternoon doing something simple.
