King Soldiers 2

I've been playing King Soldiers 2 for a while now, and I have to say, it really is something of a great addictive experience. The game places you in a soldier’s boots — with a bazooka in hand — who’s been assigned with destroying a whole army of annoying aliens. It’s great how the game mixes some puzzle elements along with the action, demanding not merely quick reflexes but also a little strategy. The 2D graphics are cute, with colorful monsters and levels that are well-designed and serve to create an energetic environment for the explosive gameplay. As the game progresses, rounds increase in difficulty, encouraging you to adapt your strategy, and try to mitigate the effects of your restricted arsenal. I’ve seen a lot of players singing the praises of the satisfying physics-based destruction in the game — and I can’t help but agree. Timing and trajectory are everything here.

Feedback from the community has also been overwhelmingly positive, with people claiming the game is cool, has long-term potential and can keep you playing for hours on end. The mechanics are fairly easy to understand, but getting a handle on them is what will draw you in. Though, a few levels may begin to feel repetitive over time, which is a small dent in an otherwise engaging gameplay experience.
