Ever seen what it’s like to get wild as a dinosaur in downtown Mexico? Check out Mexico Rex, in which T. Rex confronts chaos: Take control of a real-life T-rex that breaks out of its cage in Mexico City and enjoy a tourist trip with real carnage. The best part of my adventure? Munching on human snacks while I use my molotovs to turn cars into scrap, with my trusty minigun. Collecting chili peppers gives the gameplay an additional spicy kick!

From my playthrough and a bevy of online responses, this game has snuggled into a comfortable nook of players craving a bit of chaos. The idea of catering to a T-rex’s appetite is undeniably cool, but if we were to nitpick, we’d say the game could use a few more hot sauces on the variety front. Yet for arcade fans looking for a destruction derby with bite, this rex’s rampage serves a toothy smile.
