Mystic Sea Treasures

Jumping into the conundrum of Mystic Sea Treasures, I was really hyped to line up those shimmering symbols and get a taste of the magic effects promised in the game description. And those tiles!!What a pirate’s dream they glitter ! It’s a match-three or more where you swap tiles in order to realize some serious buried loot. I gotta be honest, a couple of friends said they kinda found the treasure-trove of challenges a pleasant sail as opposed to a stormy journey, but then, perhaps that's what you need at the end of a long day.

The magic effects? They’re fine additions, with some flare to the gameplay. Though, at times they resembled Mythical Storms at Sea more like a light drizzle. But to be fair, not everything is Poseidon’s wrath. And although I wouldn’t go so far as to describe the game as the Moby Dick of match-three puzzles, it does reel you in with its mysterious allure. It is an okay method of procrastination and for perhaps a slight feeling of being lucky every now and again. Somewhat like discovering a sea shell on the shore — it’s nice, but there is so much more to be found!
