A Slice of Time-Pressured Fun at the Pizza Party
With dough in hand and a countdown looming, I stepped back into the kitchen with Pizza Party, a culinary test to ensure you serve these hungry patrons a tasty meal. As a big fan of a good slice, this game felt like a fun way to simulate the hustle of a pizza shop without the oily aftermath.
Following the recipes to a T, doing my best not to screw over too many customers, the game does its job of keeping you on your toes. The tutorials are useful, discreetly showed in the Help part, and offer the instructions for stacking toppings and scoring points — something crucial if one hopes to develop in this pizza career.
The game does have its topping of trouble, however. Day two is the goal in an elusive mystery that draws both annoyance and mirth from players like me. But yeah, the game is fine: a solid breadstick or, like, a middle of the road pizza parlor that isn’t gourmet, but has the perfect top to bottom ratio when you want it.
Pros: The game is easy to grasp, provides a total blast of time-management; features a high score to make you come back and try to beat yourself or others.
Cons: You may run into a sauce-stained wall on day two, due to what might be described as an ingredient shortage, which can be kryptonite to your pizza party plans. Overall, Pizza Party should not be game of the year, but it is a fun pitstop for those that want a bit of kitchen mayhem with a side of giggles. You can also share your score here on Play123 up to true pizza master!
