Snack Time

Since I began an interesting expedition with Little Waldy, in Snack Time, I have been intrigued by the simple idea of helping a boar prepare for winter. Through twelve levels, the game requires you to move acorns to specific locations which makes it feel like an enjoyable sokoban challenge. There is a storyline in between cute illustrations that creates a playful (though monotonous) gaming atmosphere.

In as much as the controls might not be the most responsive making animations not as smooth as they should have been; they still do not get rid of enjoyment in solving puzzles. But after all this time, I have found out that the game has just a bit of replay value something noted by several forums within the gaming community. Therefore, once you solve a puzzle in every level, the need to replay it disappears. Nevertheless, for ordinary players who just want to kill time or puzzle lovers in search of something new to solve, Snack Time will serve the purpose.

Here’s one for the insiders: they say little Waldy is very nutty about his acorns but at times I doubt if he doesn’t have a screw loose over his puzzles!
